CLIMATE CHANGE A REPERCUSSION OF HUMAN INDUCED SYSTEMS

چکیده
Climate change includes both the global warming driven by human emissions of greenhouse gases, and resulting large-scale shifts in weather patterns. Though there have been previous periods climatic change, since mid-20th century, humans had unprecedented impact on Earths climate system caused a scale. The largest driver is emission which more than 90% are carbon dioxide methane. Fossil fuel burning (coal, oil, gas) for energy consumption main source these emissions, with additional contributions from agriculture, deforestation, industrial processes. The cause not disputed any scientific body national or international standing. Temperature rise accelerated tempered feedbacks, such as loss sunlight-reflecting snow ice cover, increased water vapour (a gas itself), changes to land ocean sinks.Temperature about twice average increase, leading desert expansion common heat waves wildfires. Increasing rates evaporation intense storms extremes. amplified Arctic, where it has contributed melting permafrost retreat glaciers sea ice. Additional also increases risk triggering critical thresholds called tipping points. Impacts ecosystems include relocation extinction many species their environment changes, most immediately coral reefs, mountains, Arctic. Human impacts undernutrition hunger reduced crop yields, declining fish stocks, vector-borne diseases, potentially severe economic impacts, inequality, people living uninhabitable zones, migration.Effects led World Health Organization declare greatest threat health 21st century. Even if efforts minimize future successful, some effects will continue centuries, including rising levels, temperatures, acidification.

The purpose of the present study was the simulation of climate change effects on groundwater resources in Iran by using the dynamic systems approach. The approach was performed through system dynamics modeling process including problem explanation, system description, model development, model testing, and the use of the model for policy analysis. The impact of the application of various exogeno...
متن کاملClimate Change and the Challenges of Quantitative Assessment of Urban Climate Change: A Case Study in Tehran Metropolis
Background and Aim: Climate change on the earth is changing faster than ever before in the history. Cities are highly vulnerable to this climate change. Therefore, the present study aimed to investigate climate change in the metropolis of Tehran during the period 1991-2020 and help understand the limitations that cities may have in confronting climate change. Materials and Methods: This descri...
متن کاملHuman Perceptions of Climate Change
This paper presents an interactive simulation of the effects of emissions and absorptions of anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere. The interactive simulation based on the “bathtub” metaphor, was built using the Dynamic Integrated Climate Economy model (DICE)-1992. The interactive tool allows participants to make decisions on the anthropogenic CO2 emissions, observe the consequen...
متن کاملHuman control of climate change
The use of analogies and repeated feedback might help people learn about the dynamics of climate change. In this paper, we study the influence of repeated feedback on the control of a carbon-dioxide (CO2) concentration to a goal level in a Dynamic Climate Change Simulator (DCCS) using the “bathtub” analogy. DCCS is a simplification of the complex climate system into its essential elements: CO2 ...
